Though I left Alaska some years ago after living in the state for 18 years, a recent trip back was not only a chance to share favorite places with my husband but also an opportunity to gather ideas for an Alaska series.
The state is vast, the landscape varied! And while I love the grandeur of the mountains often rising from tundra, it is the water that really draws me. From icy ocean waters to lakes surrounded by wild flowers to waterfalls cascading down mountainsides, the water is at the heart of many of my pieces.
The original mixed media pieces combine pieces of many types of art paper, including lace papers, that have been dyed or painted with acrylic or watercolors and accented with touches of mica.
The prints are printed to museum quality standards on fine art paper with an elegantly textured finish.
Giclee print sizes are 24x18 and 16x12. Custom Sizes are available on request.
