A trip to a high mountain lake led to the view of some of the largest lupine flowers I have ever seen (our Texas bluebonnets are a much smaller cousin). The purples and pinks of the blossoms stood out against the stunning blues of the lake water while the mountains in the background provided a crisp contrast.
The original mixed media pieces combine pieces of many types of art paper, including lace papers, that have been dyed or painted with acrylic or watercolors and accented with touches of mica.
The prints are printed to museum quality standards on fine art paper with an elegantly textured finish.
